No servers, no tracking, no surveillance

GetYourHandsOffMyData does not store any personal data on our servers — because we don't use any. Your data stays in your browser, either in localStorage or encrypted using client-side cryptography.

Cookies

This site does not use cookies. We do not track you, identify you, or observe your behavior in any way.

Analytics

We do not use Google Analytics, Matomo, or any form of telemetry. Your usage is your business — not ours.

Encryption

All data is stored locally in your browser. If you use our encryption feature, your data is encrypted using industry-standard cryptographic methods before it is saved — and only you hold the key.

Hosting & Jurisdiction

The site is hosted within the European Union and complies with the GDPR. We do not rely on U.S.-based infrastructure or third-party cloud providers.

No AI

We do not integrate artificial intelligence into the platform. If you wish to analyze your data with AI, you are free to export and do so on your own terms — privately and locally.

Dependencies

This site does not use any third-party libraries, frameworks, or modules — with one exception: we use icons from Font Awesome. These are embedded locally and do not load from external servers. Everything else is written in pure, dependency-free HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Open, but not open-source (yet)

Our project is transparent, and all functionality is written in vanilla JavaScript, HTML, and CSS — free from dependencies. Hosting your own copy is permitted and encouraged, but the source code is not currently published in a public repository.
